OOTD – Green & Black (with a touch of gold and rainbows)

Hello everyone! שלום לכולם!

I decided that I’ll just post pictures of today’s outfit instead of doing a video, you’ll be able to see the outfit better. 🙂 החלטתי להעלות תמונות במקום קליפ של התלבושת שלי היום, ככה תוכלו לראות טוב יותר. 🙂

So today I wore a long black shirt with puffy sleeves I got at the Israeli brand TNT. Over it I have a green dress from Forever21 and finally my leggings are from the Korean brand Lemon Cookie which I absolutely adore. My shoes are by NIL, my teary-heart necklace is from a random shop in Japan (it’s a copy of a necklace worn by Kazuya Kamenashi from KAT-TUN) and my earrings are by Claire’s. I’m also wearing a thin rainbow bow from Japan but you can barely see it.

אז היום לבשתי חולצה שחורה ארוכה עם שרוולים נפוחים מטי-אן-טי, שמלה ירוקה מפוראבר21 וטייטס מחברה קוריאנית בשם למון קוקי. הנעליים שלי הם של ניל, העגילים מקלייר’ס, השרשרת שלי מחנות רנדומאלית ביפן (היא חיקוי של שרשרת שקאזוי קאמנשי מקאט-טון ענד). יש לי גם קשת בצעי הקשת מיפן אבל לא רואים אותה כל כך.

As for my makeup, I decided to go with a smokey green/gold eye. I used my trusty MANLY palette I got from Ebay. My lipstick is a nude shade by M.A.C and over it I applied some pink eye shadow to make it a bit more shiny. On my cheeks I have a bronzer, a mizture of 3 shades of blush and M.A.C’s Mineralize Skin Finish which I absolutely adore. My foundation is a combination of Missha BB Cream No.23 and Clinique Stay True Makeup No.27. Over it I apply a translusent loose powder by Revlon. ועכשיו האיפור: החלטתי לעשות מראה “מעושן” עם ירוק וזהב. השתמשתי בפלטה שקניתי באי-ביי שאני מאוד אוהבת. על השפתיים יש לי שפתון בצבע גוף של מאק ומעליו שמתי צללית ורודה כדי להוסיף קצת ניצנוץ. על הלחיים יש לי ברונזר, 3 סוגים של סומק שערבבתי ושימר של מאק שאני מאוד אוהבת.בתור מייקאפ אני מערבבת בין ביבי קרים של מישה מס’ 23 וסטיי טרו מייקאפ של קליניק מס’27. מעל זה אני שמה פודרה שקופה של רבלון.

Nail Art Tutorial – Skulls

So here I am with my first nailart tutorial! אז הנה אני עם הקליפ נייל-ארט הראשון שלי!

The sound is absolutely horrible because I mumble so I’ve put lots of annotations to help. הסאונד איום ונורא כי אני ממלמלת אז שמתי כתוביות כדי לעזור.

I wanted to do something fun, light and rather easy, incorporating glitter, purple and skulls which are things I absolutely adore. רציתי לעשות משהו כיפי, קליל ויחסית פשוט בשילוב עם נצנצים, סגול וגולגות שאני נורא נורא אוהבת.

So here it is! אז הנה זה!

Excuse the messiness. I work messy and clean things up the morning after with hot water. סליחה על הבלאגן. אני עובדת מאוד מלוכלך ומנקה את השאריות בבוקר למחרת עם מים חמים.

The nail polishes used. Very cheap, last for about a week. הלקים שהשתמשתי בהם. סופר זולים, מחזיקים בערך שבוע.

The brush I used. It’s very fine but not too long and not too short. המכחול שהשתמשתי בו. הוא מאוד דק אבל לא ארוך מדי ולא קצר מדי.

Hello world!

Hi everyone!

This is my very first post and I’m quite excited.

So let me start by introducing myself. My name is Shira, I’m a 24 year old undergrad student. I love fashion makeup and nailart as well as Japanese and Korean pop culture so I hope to incorporate the two in this blog and give you something interesting and fun to read, filled with pictures and reviews and tutorials. 🙂

Since I’m rather new to this whole ordeal, I hope you’ll be patient with me and also give me suggestions and pointers as to how I can make this blog better.

Since I’m from Israel, and I want this to be a blog lots of people can enjoy, I will be making the posts bilingual. 🙂

As a first post I decided it would be fun to do an Outfit Of the Day (OOTD). I apologize for stuttering and dirty mirrors and whatever else is messed up in this video, but it was a good first try “in front” of a camera. I’ll try and get used to talking to myself as quickly as possible to give you less embarrassing videos. XD

זה הפוסט הראשון שלי ואני נורא מתרגשת!

אז אני אתחיל בלהציג את עצמי. שמי שירה, אני סטודנטית בת 24 לתואר ראשון. אני מאוד אוהבת אופנה, איפור ועיצוב ציפורניים וגם תרבות פופ יפנית וקוריאנית. אני מקווה להביא לכם בלוג נחמד וכיפי שישלב את השניים ויהיה מלא בתמונות, ביקורות וסרטונים “לימודיים”. 🙂

בגלל שאני חדשה לכל העניין, אני מקווה שתהיו סבלנים איתי ותתנו לי הצעות וביקורות בונות כדי שהבלוג הזה יהיה באמת מוצלח.

כיוון שאני מישראל ואני רוצה שכמה שיותר אנשים יהנו מהבלוג הזה, אני אכתוב גם באנגלית וגם בעברית. 🙂

בתור פוסט ראשון חשבתי שיהיה נחמד לעשות קליפ של תלבושת היום. אני מצטערת על הגמגומים והמראה המלוכלכת וכל הדברים האחרים שלא בסדר בקליפ הזה. אבל אני חושבת שזה היה נסיון חשוב בשביל להרגיש מה זה להיות “מול המצלמה”. אני אשתדל להתרגל לדבר לעצמי כמה שיותר מהר כדי לתת לכם קליפים פחות מביכים. XD
